Welcome To Our World!

Wow!  Spring is springing......well, actually it is kind of trickling in....but hey....winter is definitely on it's way out and we are excited about that!   Spring is all about 'new beginnings', including the arrival of pussy-willows and the flow of 'little rivers'  down the road.!  Sooooo great!

 Living at a lake....a very beautiful lake in northeastern Saskatchewan,  Lawrence & I  feel blessed every single day as we wake to find deer in our yard, birds feasting right outside our dining room window and the smells, sounds and sensations of the changing seasons in the natural world!!

Right now, we are preparing for an exciting new life adventure and we wanted to start a blog to capture our experiences and share them with our families and friends.  Portugal, Spain, Morocco.....here we come!!!  Only 7 more sleeps and we will be flying across the Atlantic, preparing to live in Tavira,  Portugal FOR ONE WHOLE MONTH and adventuring to Spain and Morocco from there!!!!!  Major bucket list item, checked off!

So.......spring + new beginnings + new adventures + new blog = "Pussy-Willows & Popcorn"......our random, yet symbolic blog title intended to capture our love of lake life....the natural world around us (pussy-willows).......new beginnings (pussy-willows) and our spirit of fun as we live life in our 50's (popcorn = fun, right!!)!!
