Three years ago we traveled to Portugal and fell completely in love with this beautiful country and its people!!! We had always known we would go back 'some day', so......it is incredibly exciting that 'some day' is, now, tomorrow!!!!! Yes.....tomorrow, Sept. 14th, at 6:00 AM, we are flying out of Saskatoon, with our dear friends, Joan, Duff, Brian and Delilah and heading to Lisbon Portugal!!!!!!!! We will spend a few days enjoying the BEAUTIFUL city of Lisbon and then take a train to our precious, magical 'town' of Tavira, where we lived for a month, 3 yrs ago!! Lawrence and I can't wait to revisit this quaint, picturesque fishing village (town) in the amazing Algarve region of Portugal!!! The best part is that we get to share it with our dear friends for 2 whole weeks!!!! This means that through their fresh eyes and with their eager curiosity, we will experience parts of this town and area that we missed during our first visit!!! Soooo exciting!!
After our 2 weeks together, Lawrence and I will take an additional month, spending a week in Barcelona, Spain and 3 weeks in Dubrovnik, Croatia!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!! Our first joint-retirement European trip!!!!
