We're Here!!!

After a long night flight and a bit of squishy airplane sleep, we arrived in lovely Lisboa!!! 

Our plans, to travel to Portugal, as a group of six friends, began in April, so, as we landed safely and disembarked from the crowded plane, we sighed, in awe, as we breathed in the amazing Portugese air and  said excitedly, "We're here!!!!" 

Lisboa is so beautiful and vibrant!! There is soooo much to see and do!! After finding and settling into our charming & comfortable rented 3 bedroom (2 bathroom) apartment, we set out to explore (and in Lawrence & my case, revisit) the area around our suite! 

We then returned to our Lisboa 'home' and enjoyed some wine and Portugese couvert (appetizers....of bread, cheese, olives and sardine pate)!!

We are actually REALLY exhausted so are heading to bed ASAP! Tomorrow we have a big exploration day planned and we need to be rested up!!
